THE PESA JOURNEY

In the heart of our community thrives a unique, family-owned and operated training company that has become a beacon for youth soccer development.

PESA was first established in 2012 as a private training company alongside clinics in the summer and winter months. Director, Daniel Cukar, spent his time working with a select few players before being asked to coach their teams. With little to no resources for advertising, the company marked its footprint by developing a cohesive partnership with East Hanover Soccer Club. Today, PESA continues to work closely with the East Hanover teams in both travel and recreation play, while also offering a number of camps and clinics within the area throughout the offseason.

Coach Steve came on board to PESA after finishing college in 2016. He worked alongside Coach Dan and Coach Rodrigo with private training sessions, clinics and eventually as an assistant coach. As PESA expanded within the town, the demand for proper training increased, leading to the creation of a solidified development academy with a mission to elevate youth soccer communities across the state.

Through word of mouth, PESA became a reputable establishment. The fantastic results and growth within the players and teams proved that families do not need to spend thousands of dollars at clubs to have a great experience.

“At PESA, we believe the most important aspect of soccer is having a memorable experience. We’re committed to providing fun and educational training that guarantees growth within our youth players and throughout the communities that we serve.” - Coach Dan (Director)

Through the years, PESA developed concrete curricula for all age groups, focusing on player development, character building and unity.

“Curriculum is key for cohesion across a program. Trainers follow our curriculum to ensure all players are getting the proper instruction to improve their game and enjoy the experience.” - Coach Steve (Director)

The academy not only harps on individual development, but on growing collectively as well. PESA’s core values extend off the field, with a priority and focus on developing wholesome relationships with all players and families. The high success rates in the teams exist due to the vigorous environment created within the academy.

Upon years of development, the academy has recently expanded their offerings to multiple soccer clubs. In addition to East Hanover, PESA now partners with West Morris and MLBTB soccer club, coaching their travel teams and steering recreation sessions for players within the towns.

Today, PESA has everything to offer at all levels, including individual and group private training, indoor and outdoor clinics, camps, tryouts, travel coaching, and recreation sessions, guaranteeing an unforgettable experience from preschool to high school.

“If you talk to our town partners, you can see how we operate here at PESA. Soccer needs to be fun and educational. The bond between a coach and a player is of the utmost importance. It’s an amazing experience here and we always look to make it better with each season for our families.” - Coach Steve
